Media Centre

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs International Press Centre at Fredsgatan 6 in central Stockholm will function as Media Centre for international media on the Wedding Day, 8 June.

The Media Centre is equipped with fixed and wireless networks and ISDN.

There are around 50 workstations in the Media Centre and an info-point with information about the events and about Sweden. Representatives from the Swedish Royal Court, International Press Centre will available at the Media Centre.

On 8 June, the Swedish Television (SVT) live coverage from the Wedding Ceremony will be broadcast in the Media Centre on a largre screen TV. A professional English translator will be available for international media during the screening.

Position cards and media information will be handed out at the Media Centre on 7 and 8 June.

Host Broadcaster TV - Sveriges Television (SVT)

The Swedish Royal Court has named Swedish public service broadcaster Sveriges Television (SVT) the official host broadcaster at the royal wedding.

SVT will broadcast live from The Royal Palace at the arrival of the guests to the Royal Chapel, the wedding ceremony at the Royal Chapel, the cortège and the arrival of the guests to Drottningholm Palace.

These events will also be broadcast live on www.svt.play.se
