International Compact with Iraq - Annual Review Conference in Stockholm

Welcome to the International Compact with Iraq - Annual Review Conference in Stockholm, to be held on 29 May 2008.

Sweden will host the first International Compact with Iraq - Annual Review Conference in Stockholm on 29 May 2008.

Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt and Minister for Foreign Affairs Carl Bildt responded positively to a request to host the conference from the United Nations and the Government of Iraq at a meeting on 3 April with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

Webcast from the conference

During all of Thursday 29 May www.regeringen.se och www.icistockholm.se will webcast the International Compact with Iraq - Annual Review Conference that is being hosted by Sweden. The webcast will be in English (through interpreters) and the original languages used by delegates.

The webcast times will be from 10.00 to 12.00 and from 14.00 to 18.00. The subsequent press conference will also be webcast between 18.15 and 18.45.
